I would like to thank you for all you did over the past six months. This is much more than just thanking you for being my lawyer. It is thanking you for helping make this situation better than I could have ever imagined. Although I would have rather met you in better circumstances, I am glad that we did become friends throughout all of this. When I first got in trouble, I was extremely scared about going through the court and being ignorant of everything that went into it. You helped me understand what was going on and kept everything simple, which kept me comfortable whenever I had to do anything. The way you held yourself was very interesting because you were very relaxed and chill about everything, which made me have a bright outlook of everything, which helped me keep a good attitude. Your youth really took a role in the courtroom when you could casually ask me questions that older adults would make more formal so it helped me answer clearer and more honest. You taught me that in your profession you do not have to fit into the general mold that is set by society. You are not the “typical lawyer” but I feel you are one of the best because of the way you presented yourself. Again thank you very much for everything, and I look forward to seeing you again under better circumstances.
